Lana Mae Davis, 68, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Sunday, Aug. 12, 2018, at the Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy. A visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 31, at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel Stateroom. Funeral services at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 1, at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories.
Lana Mae McCain was born Nov. 6, 1949, the eldest daughter of Herman "Dannie"
and Doris (Kidder) McCain. Lana retired from Quaker Oats after 35 years. Her greatest joy in life was her family, but she also enjoyed books, puzzles, and putting a smile on the face of everyone she met.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Lana is survived by her mother, Doris McCain; brother, Dannie McCain; sister, Karen (Gary) Ferguson; two sons, Troy (Trish) Davis and Kenny (Nancy) Davis; five grandchildren, Randy, Briana, Samuel, Dennis and Dylan; a niece and nephews; and many friends.
