Timothy B. Kindig, age 64, of Marion, IA, passed away on Monday, March 4, 2024, at his home after a short battle with cancer.
Tim was born January 16, 1960, in Ceder Rapids, IA, the son of William and Maxine Kindig. He graduated from high school and worked his whole life with the last four years working as a supervisor for R&D Events with whom he considered his second family. Tim loved shooting hoops and fishing with his kids, grilling and being outdoors. He was an amazing dad and grandpa and loved the big family get-togethers.
Survivors include his loving wife, Sherry; four children, Amy, Amber, Parker and Rylie Kindig; grandchildren, Laine Bear, Ivan, Nova and Ollie; sister, Cindy (Russ); brother, Bill (Winifred); hunting and fishing buddy, Chris; nieces and nephews, Jennifer, Lisa, Jason and Brian and many other friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation for Tim will be held Thursday, March 7, 2024, from 4 – 7:00 pm at the Cedar Memorial Chapel Stateroom.
Graveside Service for Tim will be held on Friday, March 8, 2024, at 11:00 am at the Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery in the Garden of the Cross.
The family would like to thank St. Croix Hospice for their amazing care of Tim in his final weeks.
