The exciting moments of pregnancy have turned to sorrow and heartfelt loss with the death of my baby girl, Bri'Ayla Catherine Hope Carnes, on July 14, 2018.
Our farewells will be Saturday, July 21, 2018, with visitation at 1 p.m., followed by a service at 2 p.m. at Lensing Funeral & Cremation Service, 605 Kirkwood Ave., Iowa City. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Iowa City.
My angel leaves behind her loving family who will always love her. Her mother, Latia Green; her sister, Latianna Green; grandparents, David and Carol Green and Dave and Joyce Baumgarten; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.
Bri'Ayla was preceded in death by a grandmother, Lettie Green.
In lieu of gifts and flowers, we would appreciate a donation to the Bri'Ayla Memorial Fund at Wells Fargo Bank, 3570 First Ave. NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402.
We would like to thank the nursing staff and doctors at St. Luke's Birthing Center, Trappist Caskets, Lensing Funeral Home, Memorials by Michel, Memory Gardens Cemetery and those who donated in so many ways.
