IOWA CITY — For the second straight year, ESPN will send its College GameDay women’s basketball crew to Iowa City for the Iowa Hawkeyes’ regular-season finale.
The hour-long show will begin at 10 a.m. from Carver-Hawkeye Arena and will feature notables Andraya Carter, Rebecca Lobo, Holly Rowe, Carolyn Peck and others.
“I’m excited to host for the second year in a row,” Iowa Coach Lisa Bluder said Sunday, after the Hawkeyes’ 101-85 win over Illinois. “I think we’ll have an unbelievable atmosphere.”
Tipoff for the fourth-ranked Hawkeyes and No. 2 Ohio State is noon and will be televised by FOX.
College GameDay came to Carver last season for Iowa’s game with Indiana. The Hawkeyes won that one, 86-85, on Caitlin Clark’s last-second shot.
