Steven Mark Scovel, 60, of Cedar Rapids, died unexpectedly Monday, June 18, 2018, at his home. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
He is survived by his brothers, Vance (Cindy) Scovel of Walford, Iowa, Mike (Pam) Scovel of San Antonio, Texas, and Paul Scovel of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; and a sister, Donna Remling of Waterloo, Iowa; and several nieces and nephews. Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Estella Scovel; sister, Dixie Heimbuck; and special friend, Kathy Bird.
A memorial fund has been established and can be directed to the family in Steve's name at P.O. Box 227, Walford, IA 52351.
