If anthem to be sung daily, include 3rd verse

As a patriotic American, I am delighted that Iowa Republican lawmakers have mandated the daily singing of at least one verse of slave owner Francis Scott Key's "The Star-Spangled Banner."
I propose a daily singing of the third verse of our national anthem. An objective history lesson aimed at understanding the meaning of Key's words "the hireling and slave" would serve students well, not only in understanding U.S. history but in understanding how we can deny an obvious truth (slavery) if it contradicts our self-regard ("land of the free").
