John S. Beving IV, 59 of Cedar Rapids, Iowa passed away due to complications of his heart surgery on January 25th, 2024 at St. Luke’s Unity Point Hospital. John was born July 31st, 1964 and was a Cedar Rapids native. He graduated in 1982 from Metro High School. He met his wife Linda L. Beving (Miller) in 2003 and married her on October 17th, 2008.
He had worked at Adidas and Whirlpool but had to leave due to health issues. He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, camping, and watching his favorite Westerns on tv. He also loved his time with his dogs and birds.
John is survived by his wife Linda Beving, daughter April Jackson, and son Travis Hostetler. Grandchildren Jordan, Jeremy, Mason, Emma and Everett. He is preceded in death by his parents John Beving III and Shirley Johnson, brother and Uncle Donnie Turner.
