Excited to watch the demise of Iowa under Republican control

I cannot describe the depth of my excitement and pride that I feel, knowing that Iowa Legislators have invested themselves micromanaging our teachers and medical professionals. And that they continue to do so, in spite of the increasing levels of homelessness, the lack of affordable housing, hunger (especially when we know we cannot trust parents to make healthy choices so we deprive them of federally available money), the medical deserts of many Iowa counties, the increasingly decreasing availability of mental health services (those people are much better served in prison, anyway, aren't they?), the removal of local control of school districts, and, of course, critical infrastructure (especially our bridges).
I know that it is important that Republicans continue their proud tradition of "smaller government" and increase the removal of basic rights (unless you are a corporation, then, of course, you have the rights of "a person"). So, continue in pride, Iowa Legislature! Know that I am right there behind you. Let's just rip away those silly basic human rights of housing, clothing, food, education, and medical care, including mental health care. And the ability to drive across the state without worrying a bridge may collapse.
