Donald “Don” “Kirby” Kirberger, 88, of Marion, Iowa, died on Friday, January 19, 2024, at The Villages of Marion. Per Don’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Arrangements are with Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Cedar Rapids.
Don was born on April 17, 1935. He had a career as a structural steel engineer.
He is survived by his wife, Karen, and preceded in death by his parents, a brother, and a sister.
Don was a charter member of the Otter Creek Lions Club.
A very special thank-you to the nurses and staff at The Villages of Marion and Care Initiatives Hospice for the care given to Don.
