Now is the time for Democrats to get involved

I came home from my precinct caucus Monday evening fired up about democracy and about being a Democrat. Democratic activists are working tirelessly, practicing grassroots politics at its best. They are organizing new constituent groups, such as the Rural Caucus, to empower more Iowans. Democrats are standing up for the state’s children and families by protecting public education from Gov. Kim Reynolds’ efforts to strip away key resources. It is Democrats who are looking out for Iowans’ right to accessible health care, clean water, and clean air.

There will never be a better time for Democrats to rededicate ourselves to the values we traditionally stand for.
