Ricky L. Marlatt, 81, made his journey home on Friday, January 12, 2024, under the compassionate care of Mercy Hospice House in Hiawatha, Iowa surrounded by family and friends. Ric spent his youth in Lyons, Ohio, and served as firefighter for Lyons, Ohio and Albion, Michigan, then as Fire Chief in Kalamazoo Township (Eastwood), Michigan and Mt. Pleasant, Wisconsin. He enjoyed retirement in Estero and Summerfield, Florida before moving to Cedar Rapids, Iowa to be near family. He was a devoted father and husband and celebrated 56 years of marriage to his best friend Charlene in June 2023. Please visit www.broshchapel.com for the full obituary.
