Nathanael (Nate) Huebener (50) died suddenly Sunday, January 14, 2024. According to his wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral. A celebration of life will be held later. Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Marion is assisting the family.
Nathan was born in 1973, to William and Kathleen Huebener. He graduated from Marion High School, active in band (tuba) and computer club. Earned his nickname “Computer Brain.” Nathan attended Kirkwood Community College. He was a weightlifter – strongest man on earth. Nathan worked at Marion Hy-Vee night stock for over 30 years. He owned his own computer company, “Nate's Computer Lab,” specializing in communications and surveillance cameras. Nathan will be remembered for his many acts of kindness, his hard-work ethics, his humor, and his honesty. Minutes before he died, Nathan's last act of kindness was to use his strength to save a man's life. Nathan loved the Lord Jesus Christ and served our Lord all the days of his life. He believed the Rapture is near and created “Red-Thumb Drives” containing the Bible, Les Feldick's Bible Studies, and information for believers to leave for those left-behind after the Rapture.
Among his survivors are his father, William; his mother, Kathleen; his best friend/brother Samuel; and countless friends and relatives.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be donated in his honor to The Heartland Chapter of Youth For Christ at https://heartlandyouthforchrist.givingfuel.com/giving-general-form.
