Norman J. Stevenson, of Cedar Rapids, passed away on January 07, 2024, at the Oldorf Hospice House.
There will be no funeral or visitation. Burial will be held in Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Norman is survived by his children, Susan Stevenson, Janet (William) Hoekstra; Two grandchildren, Alyssa (Troy) Hallberg, Trenton Hoekstra (Janessa) and great grandson, Jonas Hoekstra.
Norman was born August 21, 1925, the son of Pearl and Ethel (Nabholtz) Stevenson in rural Vinton, Iowa. He married Mary Louise Jesina on October 3, 1948, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She passed away in November 2005. He sold insurance for many years throughout eastern Iowa. In his later years, he was a realtor in the Cedar Rapids area.
He was a member of Antioch Christian Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary, sister Dorothy Kozik, grandson, Travis Hoekstra and his parents, Pearl and Ethel Stevenson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Meth-Wick Community.
