Wayne D. "Chappy" Chapman, 81, a longtime resident and businessman in Hills, died Saturday, June 2, 2018, at Mercy Iowa City under the compassionate care of hospice and surrounded by his family. A time for family and friends to gather to celebrate his life will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 6, at Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service in Iowa City. Private family graveside services
with military honors will be held at Oakland Cemetery in Iowa City.
