Bryan Knutson, 30, of Marion, died Monday,
June 4, 2018.
Funeral service: 11 a.m. Saturday, June 16, 2018, at St. Mark's Church, Marion. Visitation will begin at 9:45 a.m. at the church. Pastor Steve Qualben will officiate. Burial: Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Bryan was born Oct. 2, 1987, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Lois Knutson and Dennis Murphy Sr. He graduated from Marion High School in 2006 and attended Kirkwood Community College to study auto mechanics. Bryan was employed by Goodwill of the Heartland for five years and he was a member of St. Mark's Church in Marion. He enjoyed following Marion High School sports and taking day trips to find new adventures. Bryan loved to be outdoors. He enjoyed camping, fishing, working on his truck and gardening. Bryan also enjoyed watching and feeding the birds and spending time with family.
Bryan is survived by his mother, Lois Knutson of Marion; uncle, Lyle (Dianna) Knutson of Robins, Iowa; and cousins, Kim and Mark Ammons and their children, Michael and David of Cedar Rapids, Jennifer and Bill Burge and their children, Brandy and Megan of Mitchellville, Iowa, Christopher Knutson and his children, Malachi and Gabriel of Windsor Heights, Iowa, and Jon Knutson and his son, Ari of Hopkins, Minn.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dennis Murphy Sr., and maternal grandparents, Henry and Alice Knutson.
