Jean M. Collis, 100, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away on Sunday, December 24, 2023, at Living Center West in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Celebration of Life Services will be held at a later date. Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Jean M. Collis was born in Benton, Wisconsin on September 13, 1923, the daughter of Edward and Ricca (Ames) Powers. She was united in marriage to Robert Collis in February of 1945.
Jean worked for twenty-five years with the Interstate Power Company as a home economist.
Jean is survived by her son, James Collis.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters, Evelyn Yoder, and Winefred Chandler; and brother, Purvus Powers.
