Waneta Joan Beasmore died on Dec. 23, 2023 at Summit Pointe Living Center in Marion, Iowa after a long illness.
Waneta was born to Cato and Lucille Webb on Jan 1, 1936 in Toddville, Iowa. She attended school in the Lisbon Community School District. She married Vernon W. (Barney) Beasmore on July 26, 1952. In addition to being a homemaker and raising three sons, Brian, Bruce and Brad, she worked for a period of time at the 42nd St Tastee Freeze and at the men's department of Kieck's in Cedar Rapids.
Waneta was preceded in death by her parents, Cato and Lucille Webb, her son Brad, and her sisters: Ann (Harry/Marv) Allsup Straw, Delores (Don/Bill) Cook Sailor, and Janet (Wayne) Bennet and several nephews, uncles and aunts.
She is survived by her husband Vernon (Barney) Beasmore, sons Brian (Terri) Beasmore, Bruce (Michelle) Beasmore, grandson Andrew (Megan) Beasmore, great-grandson Harrison Beasmore,
