What to know:
Iowa seems likely to snap its 3-game losing streak consisting of double-digit defeats to Purdue, Iowa State and Michigan.
Win or lose, none of Iowa’s games have been decided by less than eight points.
Florida A&M is a member of the Southwestern Athletic Conference. Iowa is 18-0 all-time against current SWAC teams.
The Rattlers of Tallahassee have won their last two games, 65-60 over Presbyterian and 108-78 over the LeMoyne-Owen Magicians. They started the season 0-5, including losses of 105-54 at Creighton and 81-54 at Nebraska.
The attendance for the LeMoyne-Owen game at FAMU was 158.
FAMU hasn’t had a winning season since 2006-07. It was 7-22 last year. Its football team takes a 10-game winning streak into Saturday’s Celebration Bowl against Howard.
The Rattlers’ leading scorer is 5-foot-11 guard Love Bettis (15.3 ppg), who came to FAMU by way of Coffeyville Community College and North Carolina A&T.
FAMU has one starter taller than 6-5.
