Support of Trump shows how Iowa has changed

When did this happen in Iowa? Was it a long, slow process or an overnight phenomenon? All indications now are that Iowans will vote for Donald Trump for President. While there is much from which to choose, let's focus on his message on using the military to go after his political opponents. I would put us into several categories: those who have never heard the message, those who have heard it but believe it is fake news, those who believe it is his message but that he'll never follow through, those who heartily endorse and support his message, and those who oppose any such actions with every fiber of their being.
Maybe it has been there all the time, but I never suspected that there were Iowans who supported using the U.S. military to go after political opponents, and I expected my representatives, Rep. Hinson, Senators Ernst and Grassley to speak out in opposition. It certainly feels like we've changed. It's frightening and sad at the same time.
