Wendy Dotzenrod-Ney, 53, of Decorah, Iowa, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2021, at the University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City.
A private family service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 27, at Stavanger Lutheran Church with the Rev. Terry Landsgaard presiding. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
A celebration of Wendy's life will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 27, 2021, at Silver Springs Country Club, 1392 Co. Rd. W42 in Ossian, Iowa.

She is survived by her husband, Kraig Ney, Decorah, Iowa; children, Hailey (Dustin) Carolan, Iowa City, Iowa, and Hunter (fiancee, Samantha Hoyland) Spilde, Decorah, Iowa; grandchildren, Kipton and Cali Carolan; parents, Elwyn "Junior" and Judy (Bowles) Dotzenrod, Decorah, Iowa; father- and mother-in-law, Kenneth and Karen (Schroeder) Ney, Ossian, Iowa; brother and sisters-in-law, Karla (Terry) Gossling, West Union, Iowa, Konnie (Tim) Olson, Clermont, Iowa, Kendall (Jodi) Ney, Little Suamico, Wis., and Kendra (Joel) Hageman, Lanesboro, Minn.
Wendy was preceded in death by her grandparents, Elwyn and Phyllis Dotzenrod and George and Eleanor Bowles.
