Pete Davidson to hold surprise show Dec. 6 at Paramount in Cedar Rapids

Tickets go on sale at noon today
Comedian Pete Davidson will be holding a surprise show in Cedar Rapids next week.
An announcement was made Friday that tickets for to see the former SNL star would go on sale at noon at www.creventslive.com/events/2023/pete-davidson. Tickets start at $39.50. The event will be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 6 at the Paramount Theatre, 123 Third Ave. SE, Cedar Rapids.
Davidson is the creator, executive producer, writer and star of Peacock’s critically acclaimed comedy “Bupkis.”
Davidson was a cast member on NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” from 2014-2022, where his singular Weekend Update features and original music videos garnered millions of views.
Davidson shot his first one-hour stand-up special for Comedy Central in 2016 and was named one of Forbes’ 30 Under 30 the same year. In 2020, he released the stand-up special “Pete Davidson: Alive From New York.” Davidson was listed as one of Time’s 100 Most Influential People of 2022.
In 2020, Davidson co-wrote, executive produced, and starred in the critically acclaimed film “The King of Staten Island.” Additional film work includes “Trainwreck,” “Transformers: Rise of the Beasts,” “Big Time Adolescence,” “Set It Up,” “Meet Cute,” and “Bodies Bodies Bodies.” Upcoming projects include “Dumb Money,” “Wizards!” and “I Slept with Joey Ramone.”
The event will be a phone-free experience. Use of phones, smartwatches and accessories, will not be permitted in the performance space.
Upon arrival at the venue, all phones, smartwatches and accessories will be secured in individual Yondr pouches that will be opened at the end of the event. Guests maintain possession of their devices at all times, and can access them throughout the event only in designated Phone Use Areas within the venue. All devices will be re-secured in Yondr pouches before returning to the performance space.
Anyone seen using a device (phone, smartwatch or accessories) during the performance will be escorted out of the venue.
