IOWA CITY — Iowa wide receiver Diante Vines and center Logan Jones have been practicing this week and are expected to play in Saturday’s Big Ten championship game, Kirk Ferentz indicated during his Tuesday news conference.
“Keep our fingers crossed, but it looks like they’re going to be able to go,” Ferentz said.
Wide receiver Kaleb Brown, who was among the players made available to reporters earlier on Tuesday, said he feels “100 percent” and has participated in practice after leaving last week’s game against Nebraska with an injury.
“Just got banged up, just kind of ran into my player on a play,” Brown said.
Ferentz also was optimistic about Iowa offensive lineman Gennings Dunker, who exited last week’s game with an injury.
“I think he’s going to be able to go,” Ferentz said. “He didn’t practice yesterday, practiced today a little bit.”
