Republicans should follow Reynolds’ lead in rejecting Trump

We are being told Donald Trump leads Joe Biden in the polls for president of the United States. Wait just a minute. Now we have learned the Iowa governor has withdrawn her support for Trump and sided with Ron DeSantis. Is it possible this could cause a landslide? She must now realize Trump carries too much baggage, and that DeSantis, in all probability, has less.
It would be wise for Republicans to consider what our governor has decided. Trump’s grand plan is to be the world's most powerful dictator. First of all, he is infatuated with other world dictators, such as those in China, Russia, Hungary, the Philippines, and elsewhere. Trump has the ability to lead you where he wants to go. History tells us this has happened before. There is no need for history to repeat itself.
This country has been put together with blood, sweat and tears. Not to be wasted on the fixations of one person.
