Democracy only wins with strong parties

The attorney general of Iowa backs Donald Trump for President. Four of the Iowa Congresspersons voted for Jim Jordan for their speaker at least once, most twice. Let that sink in.
I know we are a red state. With that said, we need to have strong Republican and Democratic parties. It would appear we do not. God help us if this does not come out with democracy winning.
