Schools, like families, should spend within their budgets

I have heard opinions on both sides of the CR school bond vote since it's defeat. I do appreciate comments from both sides. I would like to add an additional thought for consideration. Voting no may not have meant a lack of care, concern and support for the next generation. Voting no may not have meant the need for growth, improvement, and updating was not seen. Voting no may have meant that the voter did not believe the proposal was the wisest or best plan.
If a family has a need, they seek solutions that are both the best and within the family budget. The same strategy should be used with public spending. I do wish that we could provide the best that money could buy for our students. But in reality, there is always a pocket book that must be able to back up that purchase. Every pocket book has a limit.
