Kohen James Cole, 4 days old, son of Kendal and Kristy Cole, passed on Nov. 4, 2023, at his home in Riverside. A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 10, 2023, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Riverside. Following services, a time of food and fellowship will be held at the St. Mary’s Parish Center. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for the family. Kohen James Cole was born on Oct. 31, 2023, in Iowa City, Iowa. Left to honor his memory are his parents, Kendal and Kristy (Simon) Cole; his siblings, Kayson and Kyra Cole; paternal grandparents, Jenny Fisher (Jim Wagner) of Cedar Rapids, Robert and Kim Cole of Riverside; maternal grandparents, Leon and Lauri Simon of Riverside; paternal great-grandparent, Judie Fisher of Cedar Rapids; maternal great-grandparents, Marlene Stevens of Hills and Marvin and Katy Simon of Riverside; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Kohen was preceded in death by his paternal great-grandparents, Keith Stevens, Harold “Sonny” Fisher and Dean and Alice Cole.
