Dennis Dean Decker, 64, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away Thursday, Nov. 2, 2023, at UnityPoint-St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids. A private inurnment will take place at Linwood Cemetery in Cedar Rapids. Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, assisted the family.
Dennis was born Sept. 13, 1959, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Earl Roy and Mary Alice (Carroll) Decker. He loved going to the casino, fishing, playing his guitar, and magic tricks.
Survivors include his mother, Mary Decker; siblings, Earl, and Errol Decker; three children; cousin, Matt Salyars; and his nieces and nephews.
Dennis was preceded in death by his father, and sister, Holly Decker.
