Rollyn J. Aswegan, 80, of Marion, passed away on November 2, 2023. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at 2 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church.
Rollyn was born August 28, 1943, to Leonard and Evelyn (Reints) Aswegan in Fern, IA. After finishing high school, he served in the Army as a cook and then continued his meat cutter career with Hy-Vee for 41 years. In 1968, he married Marlene Hensch.
Rollyn is survived by two children, Amy Reisner (David) and Curtis; two grandsons, Wyatt and Cooper; two brothers Jim (Mary Jane) and Craig (Ann); and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Evelyn; and two brothers, Dennis and Gary.
