For 49 years I have dedicated my service to the Linn-Mar school district as an educator, coach, mentor, substitute teacher, and school board member. I have witnessed much change and growth over my many years, this upcoming election is a defining moment, crucial to the future of Linn-Mar.
The last eight years serving as a director on the Linn-Mar school board have given me the optimal chance to familiarize with incumbent candidates, Barry and Brittania. Barry has a wealth of financial knowledge and is capable of balancing the budget in the best interest of students and staff. Brittania is intelligent, understands policy and finance, is well organized, transparent, and an effective tactful representative of the district. Both are constantly thinking of ways to continuously improve and propel Linn-Mar forward.
Katie is a former student who is involved in the community and schools she has proven to love.
She is an intelligent quick study, a joy, who immediately makes others comfortable with her ability to listen empathetically and respond respectfully. Justin is strong in his convictions and love of Linn-Mar. He is a communicator, well versed in finance, and personifies honesty, integrity and respect.
These candidates are proud of the many educational opportunities Linn-Mar has to offer the students and community and will support the entirety of the district. As someone who has lived and breathed Linn-Mar for 49 years, I endorse Barry Buchholz, Justin Foss, Katie Lowe Lancaster and Brittania Morey. Please vote Best For Linn-Mar on November 7.
