Linda Lee Parks, 71, of Pocahontas passed away Monday, Oct. 23, 2023, at Arkansas Continued Care Hospital in Jonesboro.
She was born July 5, 1952, in Oelwein, Iowa, to the late Paul and Betty Westcott Kruger. In Iowa she worked as a packer in a factory, and after moving to Pocahontas she worked as a cook for Price Chopper.
In her earlier years she did a lot of bowling and playing cards. Later in life she enjoyed motorcycle rides, camping, her three Chihuahua dogs, and especially her visits back to Iowa to spend time with family and friends.
Linda is survived by her husband, Lonnie Lynn Parks; three children, Chris (Dwayne) Koch, Jeremy Moritz and Jason (Ashley) Burkey, all of Iowa; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one brother, David Westcott.
Cremation has been chosen as the method of final disposition. Memorial services will be held at a later date in Iowa.
The family wishes to thank all the healthcare workers who cared for Linda at St. Bernard’s Medical Center and Arkansas Continued Care Hospital of Jonesboro.
Arrangements are under the direction of McNabb Funeral Home.
