Why I’m supporting Ron DeSantis for president

As the Jan. 15 caucus approaches, Iowans will decide which presidential candidate they will support. Candidates will offer pledges and promises of what they hope to achieve, but only one has the track record, experience, and ability to accomplish them. That candidate is Ron DeSantis.
Our country faces numerous challenges, from rising costs of living to the challenge of a rising authoritarian power in Communist China. We need a president with a record of service to America, strong leadership, and the ability to lead an American comeback.
After graduating from college, Ron DeSantis went to serve our country overseas. He is the only presidential candidate who served our country in uniform, deploying to Iraq as a JAG assigned to the Navy SEALs.
As Gov., Ron DeSantis signed legislation recognizing constitutional carry, creating bonuses for new police officers, and eliminating left-wing gender ideology from schools. In recent months, DeSantis also removed two prosecutors who refused to enforce the law. The results speak for themselves: decades-low crime in Florida, record-high net in-migration to Florida, and the lowest unemployment rate among the country’s top 10 largest states.
Iowa and Florida have led the nation in conservative policy successes: heartbeat legislation to protect the unborn, parental rights laws to prevent gender ideology in the classroom, and school choice expansion.
Florida and Iowa’s successes provide a blueprint for the restoration of a strong, prosperous, and free America. Ron DeSantis is the leader we need to lead this comeback, and he has my support.
