Kristin “Kris” Osterkamp, the much-loved daughter of Elmer and Lucile Osterkamp, passed away on Sept. 9, 2023 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, after a short illness with her family by her side.
She was predeceased by her parents, Elmer and Lucile Osterkamp; brother, Colin Osterkamp; and sister-in-law, Jann.
Kris is survived by her brother, Kevin Osterkamp of Powell, Ohio; her nephew and confidant, Nick Frasher of Amber, Iowa; and her loving nieces, Heidi Krum (Bobby) of Amber, Iowa, and Casey Underwood (Beau) of Indianapolis, Ind.
A graveside service will be at noon on Sunday, Oct. 15, at Riverside Cemetery in Anamosa. Following the graveside service, family and close friends are welcome to gather at McOtto’s Restaurant in Anamosa at 1 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family or Animal Welfare Fund of Monticello.
