Elaine Andersen, 87, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2023. Per Elaine's wishes, no services will be held. Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Cedar Rapids assisted the family.

Elaine was born Aug. 11, 1936, in Marengo, Iowa, the daughter of Robert and Ella (Moore) Fiser. She graduated from Iowa Valley High School and went to obtain her associate degree. Elaine was united in marriage to Clifford Andersen on Jan. 29, 1972, in Cedar Rapids. She worked for the Linn County Motor vehicle department until her retirement in 2000. Elaine loved knitting, sewing and arts and crafts. She enjoyed a good card game.

Survivors include her daughter, Teri (Jack) Miller; grandchildren, Staci (Dan) Wozniak and Matt (Nichole) Nutz; great-grandchildren, Jordan Wozniak, Mackenzie Nutz, Peyton Wozniak, Aran Wozniak, Cooper Nutz and Ridley Wozniak; four step-grandchildren; seven step-great-grandchildren; brother, Larry Moore; many nieces, nephews and cousins; and special friends, Rick Nutz and Germaine Brownlie.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clifford Andersen; daughter, Lorie Lynn; grandsons, Joe and Jeremy; sister, Ila; and brother, Lyle.

The family would like to extend a special thank-you to Jeanette Theissen, the staff of West Ridge Care Center and RidgeView Assisted Living for their loving care of Elaine.
