Former President Donald Trump raised more than $45.5 million from July through September, his campaign announced.
Trump is running for another four-year term as president, and candidates for federal office are required to file fundraising reports every three months.
Trump’s campaign ended the period with nearly $36 million in the account, his campaign said.
Trump holds commanding leads in polling on the 2024 Republican presidential primary, both nationally and in Iowa, according to Real Clear Politics and ABC News’ 538.
DeSantis fundraising figures
Republican presidential candidate Ron DeSantis raised $15 million during the July through September federal reporting period, his campaign announced. That total includes fundraising through DeSantis’ campaign committee, leadership PAC, and joint fundraising committee, his campaign said.
DeSantis, the governor of Florida, has the second-highest polling average on the Republican presidential primary, behind former President Donald Trump, according to Real Clear Politics and ABC News’ 538.
Iowa farmers support DeSantis
A PAC supporting Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’ presidential campaign announced a coalition of Iowa farmers backing DeSantis.
The Never Back Down PAC said the coalition is comprised of 17 state leaders and more than 100 members statewide.
The leaders include Ross Paustian, a former Iowa state lawmaker from Walcott.
Bohannan fundraising numbers
Christina Bohannan, a Democratic candidate in Eastern Iowa’s 1st Congressional District, raised more than $664,000 in the recent three-month reporting period, her campaign said.
Bohannan received donations from 1,800 individuals, 1,300 of which were from Iowa, her campaign said.
Bohannan seeks her party’s nomination and the opportunity to run a second time against Republican Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks.
