Mable Franks, 75, of Cedar Rapids passed peacefully after a lengthy illness on Friday, Sept. 22, 2023.
Mable was born Aug. 27, 1948, to Robert and Jessie (Webster) Franks in Cedar Rapids.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother; brother, Thomas (Gloria) Franks; and son John Beltz; and the father of her children, Jack Beltz Sr.
She is survived by brothers Robert and Raymond, son Jack Beltz Jr. (Theresa), daughter Cindy Beltz Thompson, grandchildren Roxanne, Jesa, Alex, Jacob and Justin; many great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
Although unable to work or drive due to a lifelong disease, she was still able to raise three children. Everyone knows that she loved her family, her bingo and her Alan Jackson!
She will be dearly missed by many. Memorial service at a later date.
