Richard A. Luedeman, 86, was born in Cedar Rapids on Aug. 30, 1937. He passed away Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2023. He is survived by his son Victor (Jackie) Luedeman, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, son Craig, sister Linda and brother-in-law Velwood.
Richard served in the Navy. He was owner/operator of Luedeman Trucking until his retirement. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and a longtime member of the Cedar Boat Club. He enjoyed boating, snowmobiling, road trips on his Harley, and meeting with friends at C.J.’s and Rumors. He considered the harbor his home.
A celebration of life will be held at the Eagles Club pending venue reservation availability.
