New hires

Ashley Garretson, Brian Haight, Honor Hayes and Tyler Colling have joined Skogman Realty as Realtors.

Sara Arafat has joined Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids as a neonatology nurse practitioner.

Andrew Tawfik and Shayla Tran have joined OPN Architects as architectural designers at its Cedar Rapids studio. Dan Hammes has joined the studio as a construction administrator.

David Nordhues has joined UFG Insurance as vice president, property line of business leader.

Promotions

Jennifer Castillo has been promoted to assistant controller at the Acterra Group in Marion, which provides equipment, manufacturing, consulting, and construction services to the fuel, chemical, renewable energy, health care, manufacturing and fleet industries.

Skywalk Group, a Cedar Rapids recruiting business, has promoted Paige Timm to sourcing specialist II.

Appointments

Wade Morris has been appointed president and Jenny Skogman as vice president of the Cedar Rapids Parks Foundation. New executive board members include Dina Haveric, second vice president; Anna White, treasurer; Esther O'Donnell, secretary; and Laurie Worden, executive director.

The following appointments have been made to the board of directors at the Community Health Free Clinic: Jeanette Werling, board president; Ethan Benton, board treasurer; and Dr. Thomas Schroeder, medical director. Also appointed to the board are Jill Mast, Janet McGrath Satterlee, Mike Moran and Nic Olberding.
