Donna Mae Dietze, 80, of Marengo, Iowa, formerly of Belle Plaine, Iowa, passed away Aug. 27, 2023, at Belle Plaine Specialty Care.
Donna was born July 21, 1943, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to Benhart and Hilda (Rethman) Knipp.
She is survived by her children, Dean (Mimi) Lawthers of Marshalltown, Steve (Jo) Sauer of Rochester, Minn., Rick Dietze of Cedar Rapids, Betty (Steve) Vislisel and Sandy (Dave) Robertson, both of Blairstown; sister Norma Gould of Cedar Rapids; grandchildren, Justin (Rachel) and Cole (Taylor) Williams, Kyle Bracy, Kelsi Bringmann, Hannah Sauer, Amber and Beth Lawthers, David (Lynnette) Dietze, Ashley Dietze and Ava Maxwell; and great-grandchildren, Edwin and Lillian Williams and Kinley and Ellie Williams, Leea and Emma Harwick.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Dan Bracy; and granddaughter, Stephanie Dietze.
Donna always enjoyed a good ball game; watching the Iowa Hawkeyes and Chicago Cubs.
Graveside service is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2023, at Oak Hill Cemetery, Belle Plaine, Iowa. Memorials may be directed to the family. Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.neuhausfuneralservice.com.
