New Irish restaurant coming to Lindale Mall in Cedar Rapids

CEDAR RAPIDS — A new Irish pub and restaurant is coming to Lindale Mall in Cedar Rapids.

Signage for Olde Brick House has appeared east of the mall’s entrance at Suite 602 — formerly occupied by Boulder Tap House.

The new location is the small chain’s fourth opening, after Mankato, Rochester and St. Cloud, Minn. Menus at other locations include traditional Irish pub fare including Shepherd’s Pie and Guinness Fish & Chips.

Boulder Tap House, which closed its Lindale Mall location in June, is planning to open soon at a new free-standing location in Westdale Town Center at 4515 Westdale Pkwy. SW. The owners of that restaurant, who also own the new Olde Brick House, plan to reopen Boulder Tap House on Oct. 2, according to KDAT.

The new owners, identified by KDAT only as “Tom and Mike,” told the radio station they hope to open Olde Brick House in September.
