Lewis Alan Fry, 83, of Robins, Iowa, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2023, at Emery Place. A visitation will be held 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 20, at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 21, at the Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories.
Lewis was born June 13, 1940, to Lewis and Bernice (Sprauge) Fry in Edgewood, Iowa. He graduated from Jefferson High School in 1958 and later attended the University of Iowa. Lewis married Rita Walsh on Oct. 22, 1960. He gave over 37 years of service to Rockwell Collins before he retired in 1997.
Lewis is survived by his loving wife, Rita Fry; children, Kevin (Ann) Fry, Kent (Trudi) Fry and Kathy (Bill) Partridge; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and his sister, Beverly Klima.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Dwight “Jim” Fry.
