IOWA CITY — Iowa football’s Nov. 11 game against Rutgers is sold out, the team said Friday in a news release.
It is the Hawkeyes’ sixth sellout of the 2023 season and 13th consecutive sellout, dating back to last year.
Iowa’s Nov. 18 game against Illinois has a “limited number” of tickets remaining, according to the release.
The Hawkeyes’ first five home games — Utah State, Western Michigan, Michigan State, Purdue and Minnesota — sold out in the first two days of single-game sales open to the general public.
Despite decreasing ticket prices, Iowa’s sellouts have been at a slower pace than a year ago. Iowa sold out all seven of its home games last year a month before the season started.
