Neena Miller, 70, of Iowa City, Iowa, formerly of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, went to Heaven on Sunday, Aug. 6, 2023. The family will conduct a graveside service at 6 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 25, 2023, at Shiloh Cemetery, Hiawatha, Iowa. Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, assisted the family.
Neena was born Dec. 17, 1952, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of LaVerne and Ethel (Fuglsang) Miller. Neena enjoyed outdoor activities like hunting and fishing. She loved horses, country music, and ’70s rock. Neena was an accountant living in Austin, Texas, for several years and loved vacationing to Cancun. She will be missed by all who were touched by her kind and happy spirit.
Survivors include her sister, Kathy Miller; nephew, Marty Rupert; great-nieces and -nephews, Kasi, Alexandria and Orion Rupert; as well as many cousins.
Neena was preceded in death by her parents; late husband, Jon Myers; sisters, Marsha and Vicky Miller; and niece, Robin Rupert.
