Ben Folds concert moving indoors in Cedar Rapids
Wednesday’s stormy forecast prompts shift from McGrath Amphitheatre to Alliant Energy PowerHouse
CEDAR RAPIDS — The Ben Folds concert originally slated for the outdoor McGrath Amphitheatre is moving inside to the Alliant Energy PowerHouse at the same time and date — 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 9 — in the wake of a forecast of storms.
All original tickets will be honored at the indoor arena, 370 First Ave. SE in downtown Cedar Rapids. Seating configuration will be as close as possible to ticket holders’ originally purchased seats.
