Raymond Rybak, born on April 24, 1956, in Oil City, Pa., peacefully passed away on July 1, 2023, in Cedar Rapids. He was a man known for his carefree and light-hearted nature, a devoted family man and the ultimate Steelers NFL fan. He found joy in life's simple pleasures, such as barbecuing, landscaping and cherishing moments with his loved ones.
Throughout his life, he worked for Foreman and Clark, the Gazette and IBM Industrial, leaving a positive impact on those he encountered during his career.
Raymond was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Rybak; and his late wife, Linda Rybak.
He leaves behind his beloved daughter, Laura Rybak, who will be holding a Celebration of Life in his honor. The event, filled with beers and barbecue, is scheduled for Sunday, Aug. 6, 2023, at John's place in Fairfax, Iowa, from noon to 5 p.m. This gathering aims to reminisce and celebrate the memories of Raymond's life, welcoming all who knew him to come and pay their respects.
Raymond Rybak will forever be remembered for his vibrant spirit, love for family and the Steelers, and his genuine joy in the simple pleasures of life. May his memory live on in the hearts of those he touched.
