Coleen Bahr, 89, of Ely, Iowa, died Monday, July 24, 2023. Per Coleen’s wishes, no services will be held. Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Cedar Rapids is assisting the family.
Coleen was born April 20, 1934, in Leonardsville, Minn., the daughter of Louis and Lydia (Lange) Miller. She graduated from high school in 1952 and went on to attend the College of Medical Technology. Coleen was united in marriage to James H. Bahr on Nov. 30, 1952, in Morris, Minn.
Survivors include her children, Daniel (Debra) Bahr of Ely, Denise (Jeff) Craft of Bradenton, Fla., and Diana Bahr of North Liberty, Iowa; grandchildren, Jill, Janean, Angela, Eric and Jessica; and great-grandchildren, Julien, Jonah, Althea, Grace, Kaylee, Cael, Gavin, Madelyn, James and Beckett.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Lydia Miller; husband, Jim Bahr; and daughter, Donna Bahr.
