Betty Klein, 82, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Saturday, July 15, 2023, at her home. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 20, at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories. Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 19, at Cedar Memorial Funeral Home. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Ronald Klein; daughters, Kelly (Michael) Stagg and Tracey (Robert) Vontalge; son, James Klein, and girlfriend Shelley Snitker; grandchildren, Mindy, Debra, Michelle, Shawn, Sheila and Jeremy; great-grandchildren, Lexa, Shaylee, MaKenna, Blayze, Payton, Parker, Presley and Paxton; and siblings, Sherry, Gerald and Evelyn.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents.
Betty (Bowers) Klein was born Sept. 2, 1940, in Cedar Rapids, to Eldred and Alice Bowers. She married Ronald Klein on Sept. 26, 1959, in Cedar Rapids. She worked for College Community Schools as a cook for 25 years. Betty loved flowers, jewelry, adult coloring books, her pets, birds, music and soap opera, "Bold and Beautiful." She loved spending time with family and friends and will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
