Why the rush on abortion ban?

What is the big hurry on this abortion ban? How much has this rushed special session to vote on one bill cost Iowa? Again, legislators and the governor are following beliefs over science. How many Iowa legislators only consult the internet, social media, polls and big time Republicans when making medical decisions? I’m guessing none. Yet, our Iowa legislators favor those sources over certifiable medical advice when it comes to abortion. That’s utterly ridiculous.
You believe you know what your constituents want regarding abortion bans and limitations? Why not put it on the ballot and find out? And please stop the inaccurate use of the terms “fetal” and “heartbeat.” At six weeks, there is no fetus and no heartbeat. The embryo won’t be named a fetus until at least eight weeks. The heart has only started to form along a tube which begins electrical pulsing. So, we should call it the Potential Fetus Resembling a Tadpole with the Beginnings of a Heart on a Pulsing Tube Law. It’s not nearly as emotionally appealing, is it? I’m no medical expert, but I know enough to do some research. Please talk to a GP or an OB-GYN for additional information.
