SCOTUS no longer has Americans’ best interests at heart

It would seem some justices at the Supreme Court in Washington, D.C. no longer have the best interests of the citizens of the USA.
They are reversing laws that have been in place for many years, disrupting people's lives in a very negative way, in some cases possibly causing unneeded death.
Who do some of these justices think they are? They are accepting gifts of expensive trips and other gifts with no visible consequences. They do not recuse themselves when faced with questionable votes by them that could be beneficial to their very rich friends. Really!
Shame on Justice Clarence Thomas for accepting very expensive trips for many years and the questionable influence of his wife, and Justice Samuel Alito who also has received expensive trips and who knows what else.
There should be harsh consequences for some of the justices of the highest court in the land if they can't abide by the ethical rules they should follow, but do not.
