Pretzelmaker opens drive-thru in Cedar Rapids

CEDAR RAPIDS — A longtime mall staple in the Corridor has opened a new stand-alone drive-thru location on northeast Cedar Rapids.

Pretzelmaker’s new location, 1115 Blairs Ferry Rd. NE, opened July 5.

The drive-thru site, a new concept for the international pretzel brand, continues to blaze a new trail after its first drive-thru store debuted earlier this year in Mason City.

In addition to the new Mason City and Cedar Rapids locations, owners Lisa Vanderlind and Steve Blum own almost all of Iowa’s other Pretzelmaker locations: Lindale Mall in Cedar Rapids, Northpark Mall in Davenport and Southbridge Mall in Mason City.

The franchised chain’s menu features pretzels and pretzel bites of various flavors, alongside hot dog pretzel bites and several flavors of lemonade.

Pretzelmaker has more than 280 locations across the world, including the United States, Canada, Mexico, Guam and Saudi Arabia.
