Joseph Clemens Nurre, 97, of Manchester, Iowa, passed away on Monday, July 3, 2023, at the Good Neighbor Home in Manchester. He was born on Jan. 30, 1926, in Petersburg, the son of Al and Abeline (Klosterman) Nurre. Joe was raised and educated in the area.

Mass of Christian Burial: 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 10, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Manchester, Iowa, with the Rev. Gabriel Anderson officiating.
Visitation: 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, July 9, at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home in Manchester, Iowa. Friends may also call from 9 to 10:15 a.m. before the service at the church on Monday.
Interment with military rites: SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery in Petersburg, Iowa.
